insurance - immobiliser/tracker required!

THB and Heritage are both telling me I need a tracker on the car if cover is over

I've arranged insurance discounts for the Esprit gang with Adrian Flux, Hagerty, Classicline and Footman James. Shall I call them to see if they'll carry over those discounts to 2Elevens?

Never hurts to ask Bibs.

It is possible to fit a tracker to a 2-Eleven, your dealer should be able to provide more detail.

I'll call them up on Monday. We've saved a fair amount of money and found them to be good companies when you need them too.

Do any of them include trackday cover Bibs? I know FJ don't as I used to be with them and switched to Heritage.

If they don't, they aren't going to be much use to 2-11 owners.............

I went with Heritage in the end. I did a fair bit of analysis based on 8 track days this year. From about 6 track days or more, Heritage worked out cheapest for me. Mainly versus Aon and THB. And also as a bolt on to my CSL insurance.

Although there have been cases where cover has been given where Trackers etc. are not required, Martin at Heritage tried hard but the underwriters have tightened and have insisted on a tracker. So, got one fitted. Bit of a pain, but Aon do not cover Bedford Autodrome (my closest track) even though it has the best run offs in the UK (very strange) so that cover was a non-starter, and THB also insisted on tracker or alarm, and even though the first 4 are free, at

I spoke to Heritage earlier this week and am waiting for them to get back to me.

BTW, with all Lotus On Track trackdays, Heritage do not require you to let them know in advance and trackday cover is free. So if you do a lot of LOT it might make sense.
