I spotted a 57 plate Launch Edition car heading into Le Mans on Friday last week, anyone on here? You were in traffic heading to the track and I was on the bridge above admiring the exotic traffic jam on my way to brekkie!

Meh!

I think that with the Audi/Pug dominance with their awful sounding diesel monstrosities this may well be the last Le Mans for me which is a shame. I like racing, and although there was some good racing between them, their dominance thanks to the ACO rules so much in their favour makes this less and less fun to watch each year. A 2 horse race isn't much more fun than a 1 horse race when the field is so big and potentially strong.

PS The 2Eleven had a trailer with luggage*

*may not be true! ;)

Agreed, which is why the Classic Le Mans is looking the better bet.

A U Haul trailer what an excellent idea!

but but but the manual states that the car isn't suitable for towing (and I was so looking forward to using it to pull a double axle six berth caravan).

Perhaps it is a misprint in the manual and it should read that the car isn't suitable to be towed, hence the absence of any towing eyes (or places to mount them) :)

Your enigmatic description had me thinking about a towing hitch bolted on the roll bar with a long shaft going back and down to the trailer (rather like those bicycle trailers). The trailer would need to ba a long way back with the pivot point that far from the rear of the car though! ;)

Or, bung the rope on the tow bar and sit in the car holding it high up over the deflector...!
