Tow hook

Have got track day on Monday.. just realised I have no tow hook!

Is there one available for the car, or do you just use the roll bar with possible damage to bodywork!

IIRC From the manual they advise using the roll bar.

Lotus actually recommend fitting the tow eye pack as they have found when attaching the tow ropes to pull you out of the kitty litter the nose has a tendency to dig down causing more damage to the car

I understand (from Scott @ B&C) that it can't be retrofitted to "early" cars like mine (build number 157) and is only an option on cars built since the introduction of the "2-11 light" - apparently it is something to do with there being no suitable mounting points.

Have only left the confines of the track twice this year - once onto the grass (just kept going and rejoined track) and once into the rape seed (due to small river flowing across track) fortunately I went in forwards, did a 180 degree spin whilst in the crop and came to rest facing the hole I had made in the crop. With good fortune, I was able to drive out the way I came in - but the car was covered in wet, sticky yellow flowers. I'm sure Paul will think of some witty comment - the marshals asked if I had been to a wedding!

I think the front one is a clam off job to fit and the grill is different it has a hole in it with a plastic surround.
