I feel your pain - same thing happened to me. Couldn't believe you had to buy the whole f'ing spout. Maybe you need to install some kind of tether to the cap.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can get the cap only from some motorsport outlet.

I lost one on my 340r. Let me ask on the 340r forum.

If I remember the guys were very helpful. Measure the size of your hole (not because they are going to shaft you)before you call.

PS when you put you cap on always make sure the locking flap is pointing back (areo dynamic) as it might open with the wind?

The bottom of the cap says Newton Equipment - England. Maybe look em up and see what comes of it?

You lot could give Sherlock Holmes a run for his money! I'm sure if you contact Newton they'll be able to help you Gav. The reason we only stock the cap and tube is that's how we buy them from Newton. The tube is unique to the 2-Eleven, made to our design, but the cap is an off the shelf Newton part.
