anyone measured the resistance of the plug leads?

A long shot really, but has anyone ever measured the resistance of the HT leads.

Still trying to solve an intermittent misfire.

Yes, but I can't remember the results ... I think around 20k ohms ... but it's proportional to length, so the shorter ones should read lower than the longer ones by a significant amount.

These were original NGK leads on an Excel ...

Just measured my set.

Varied from 10.2 K ohms to 12.2 K ohms.

I can't seem to find the time at the moment to even start to find the misfire (busy time at school with Y11 courswork). But can't really drive it anyway cos too much salt on the roads!!

Yep, done mine in the past too - they were just under 10 kOhms...
