Rear hood struts

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the struts that hold the rear hood up. Mine are dead and I have to prop my hood up using a stick!!!

PNM have them in stock 0151 630 6101. They took a delivery yesterday!

Hope you sprayed the broom handle black like I did...

I picked up replacements at my local spares shop. You need to go for 175 newton ones minimum though... Speak nicely to the guys behind the counter and I'm sure they can sort you out easily enough.

Hi Stinger ! The original Supplier is Stabilus Liftomat here in Germany . I asked them yesterday if they have the original parts or a substitut . Look on their website , there is a part which is very close to the original . I keep You up todate .

Stabilus is the factory strut. In the USA they are sold as part number SG237003, which is the same stut as orginally fitted (when I got the strut it had the same part number on it as the original factory one did). I purchesed them though BAP for $64 each. They have a phone number you can mail order them, 800 321-0581.
