Just wondering which garage you took it to, not to name & shame but just so I dont go near it...is it in Nailsea by any chance?

Yep, it's in Nailsea. And no Qwerty123, they don't know much about Esprits but didn't have much choice at the time - I'd been seperated from my cars and was hoping that I'd be able to MOT the car and drive it back to save MPx Mike from trailering the car 100 miles...you know... in case his gearbox broke.... ooops!

Yep, it's in Nailsea.

Ah, then if its the garage in Nailsea I'm thinking of they even claim (or at least used to) to be Lotus & TVR specialists. When I spoke to them years ago they admitted they dont like Esprits only the Elise. :thumbup:

As for Geoff at EE, I couldnt agree more, hes looked after mine over the last 7 years and never had a problem, the car always comes back feeling better. Its just he is 60 odd miles away so a bit far if a local garage can sort it.

Anyway Ian, glad your up & running again mate & hope to see you out & about soon.
