hi gents

I have a 2.2 turbo (carb) 1989 a couple of days ago my 6 month old cam belt snapped while driving it very hard, thus ending up bending valves. would any one know if the valves are the same or from a other vehicle / valve buckets also head gasket and oil pump filter ??

thanks in advance

Valves and buckets would probably be unique, unless they happen to be the same size as another car just by chance (they were Lotus design).

I think the buckets (followers) would be the same through most of the turbo range, not 100% certain. Valves probably changed a bit in specification from early turbos.

If you're in the UK you could give Mike Taylor a call at LotusBits, he may have some second hand parts. He will stock the head gasket also (as would most dealers/ specialists).

Oil pump filter? I can only guess you mean the oil filter and not the pump pick-up pipe strainer, in which case it's a standard part, PH16 by Fram or any of the others with the same cross-reference spec.
