Sunday, Newport Pagnell Services Northbound (like duh!) on the M1.....

Meet to leave by 8:15 am

I *think* that would get us there for 9:15?

Can be adjusted earlier or later if it means more can make it? :lol:

Looking more unlikely now for me :(

Bloody garage I sent the car too over a week ago -still- hasn't started on in (only needs new brake lines, MOT and a few other minor bits).

ETA is "sometime next week" :D

Gotta do a lot of milage / checks before I am happy to take her out on a long run...last thing I want is something going chuff up the M1 !

If it's not here by wednesday it's a no go and I'm gonna be pissed :D

news back from MOT just needs a hand brake adjustment so should be go for me too.

Mike fancy a convoy again? as long as you dont make me pass you at 120bannana+ and bugger the head gasket again lol :lol:

I think Fishy should delay the departure time from NP for us long distance guys !

This time will go A24 M25 M1 and up.

Is there any one else from the South Coast ?

I've got to come from Essex and its 87 miles to NP services, but should be ok depending on the M25!

Drinking to excess it is then. Seems to be taking Maidstone 2 weeks to change the brake lines, bleed and do an MOT. Might end up coming in the roller skate but tbh without the Esprit looks kinda pointless.

Only sent it away cus it would have taken me a few weeks to get it sorted.....as usual, should have done it myself :lol:

I've gone to donny in my van. This year i'm leaving it mega late

by picking up my car from Steves on friday, if it ain't ready then

i'll be there in the Saxo!

At the end of the day even if my Esprit is there, it's not like i sit in it

all day or stand next to it all day, TBH aside from the drive up there,

my car is the Esprit i'll look at the least once it's parked.

I'll buy you a coffee and a hot dog if you come in the buggy.

Thanks for the cheer up - tbh I'm fuming about the Esprit - I could have had this done and dusted by mid January but been repeatedly let down again and again by suppliers and now the local specialist - I only sent it there becuase it would have taken me 2 weeks of my own time to fix....it's taken them 2 weeks to even look at it but I have to pay for the thing as well which is where I get to the point of boiling over. We'll see - fed up with brining the skateboard to Esprit meets.....thats kinda what I bought the Esprit for :lol:

I know it's late in the day but anyone got a spare seat they wouldn't mind hiring out ?

I can travel, I dont smell (badly) and I can pay your fuel costs + do some in car camera footage / piccies (Nikon have finally repaired my camera !!!).

I will be going Sunday but I will be joining motorway bit farther north (A14/M6 turn) unfortunately I wont be in the esprit :) but will be looking in my mirrors for some very low wide machinery caching me up should be quite a site.

Give me a blast on your hooter's if you see/notice me I will be in a matalic blue MR2
