Coolant header tank

Hi guys, I just came back to the UK for the weekend and couldnt resist pulling the S2 appart.

I took the radiator out as it needs rebuilt and my coolant tank is a bit rusty .

Does anyone know where i can get a nice shiny Stainless header tank?

PNM were looking at doing them but i didnt hear in the end had said i wanted one might be worth getting hold of superdave he will know what happened.

Or you could bead blast and powder coat the one you have.

I plan on a one off made out of aluminum to keep weight down. Would also like to incorporate a sight glass of some sort, so I am able to see the level @ a glance w/o taking the cap off. Eliminates the need to let the system cool off before checking! This may be fabbed from an old fire extinguisher bottle and a weld on cap adapter. Lee

my bottle was rusty and so bead blasted it and now its religious (holy).

trying to see if a tinsmith I know can repair. If not I need one as well
