i think they cant sell any in the EU after 31st Dec.

Nothing stopping them still making them for track use?

The Euro 5 emission regs only apply to Type Approved cars, the 2Eleven is ok as it's IVA and doesn't have to comply. They'll stop making it when the supply of engines runs out and although there aren't many, they've still got stock

Oh, and I think they'll wrap up the last car and give it to me for christmas

I have one on order. I have been told last week that it was entering production.

I've got one ordered but not in build yet.

They will continue building in to next year and, as far as we can work out, will continue to be registerable under IVA (but check before you order and don't blame me if you can't)!!

The 2-Eleven has always sold well outside the EU and there's no reason why that shouldn't continue in to next year and beyond.

I was at the factory on Monday, there are very few engines left so there won't be many 2Elevens made as of now.

I asked what numbers the above cars were, but they dont have them yet. Murrays delivered a 211 to a customer a few weeks ago and it was number 300. so maybe 301 max.

Won't they just put a replacement toyota engine in? I can't belive they will end production of 2 Lotus name plates this year. It's not like they are just different edditions of the same car.

I guess I'll have to brace myself for the end of the Elise and Exige too.

Yes, but I thought the 1.6 was as well as the 1.8 and they would replace that with a Euro approved 1.8 Toyota?
