tacho wire

Does someone know which is the tacho wire under the binnacle? (89 SE)

From what I am reading - White/Slate striped wire in the BHC pin1, but when I'm under there - there are four connectors, and none of them seems too have a WS wire in pin position 1. I did tap a WS wire - but it looks like it is not for the tach.

Don't mean to be sarcastic but what wire is coming off the tach? As you stated, from the diagram it should be white/slate...

well - I was hoping someone knew where it was in the harness and I wouldn't have to pull the binnacle....

update - found it, it is pin1 of the BHC 24 pin connector - white with gray stripe (WS)

Turns out I had a bad connection - so no reading from my tap.

the Shift-i is pretty neat...
