bov valve fitment.before or after oneway valve

Just a quickie, in my never ending quest to find out why I seem to be leaking boost randomly as I drive or accelerate, does it make much difference if the dump valve is before or after the little black and white one way valve on the line that goes from the front of the manifold to the charcoal canister. I would assume before it? Also, ive noticed this valve is weak and not quite one way anymore...so ill have to get another one and see if there is any difference to my issues!

I think (from memory) mine goes charcoal canister, one-way valve T piece to inlet and BOV.

In reality there is no gas going out through that part of the BOV so either side of the one-way valve should be OK but there will be a small pressure difference across the one-way valve so better to have the BOV inlet side of the one-way valve

If it's an aftermarket fit (Assuming S4) then just disconnect it and bung up the vac tube then test it.

The original car didn't have one so by disconnecting it you can check your system.
