It's "manicjohn"'s car back up in record time. Sold for £1700 ish IIRC. Something wrong with it do you think, or just a chancer selling it?

Hi, does anyone know the colour name and/or code for this dark metallic blue ? I`m trying to get some touch-up paint for mine (which must have been a few cars down from the above one in the assembly shop, by the looks of it)

Has your car still got it's chassis plate? There should be a number pair and a letter prefix, eg Essex Blue is A16 or A17, Tissot blue is A18 etc

Hi, it actually seems to say "A06" or "AG6" on the plate.....doesn`t seem to say "A16" but at least there is a "6" in there-the stamp is not the most legible.

A06 is listed as Bermuda Blue, touch up part number A075B6251F, bulk order A076B6072 (ICI paint code P4229288)

Touched up the car today, a good match-browsed through original handbook again, saw note of first sale, 1980 : "Bermuda Blue".
