chassis-number location, Lotus Six

can anybody tell me where i find the chassis number on a Lotus 6?

THe chassis number on a Six should be on a small plate riveted to the chassis at the center point where the front suspension pivot point is.

The spot I refer to is the piece of flat metal attached to the front bottom cross member

Make sure it's not an original chassis though.....it'll be rusty.

THE chassis number was stamped directly into the frame using a small circular punch. Each digit was made up of series of dots. My Lotus was chassis 34. The chassis number was "Mk 6 34"
