Does anyone know both what the optimum intake temp is and alsowhat the average tends to be?? I'm looking at retro fiting something to monitor the temp (mines not an SE so no electronics). Do you get this info from your freescan info??

cooler the better?

about 15 deg C above ambient i was told was good. the lotus diagram in the sales leaflet for an SE shows intake air in to the chargecooler at 160 deg C, and out at about 60. but any much above that and the SE starts to reduce boost so it said. Dermot is yur man to ask for sure with this kinda stuff.
