annual esprit run to Aberdovey!

The time of year is upon us..usually in october we do the fish n chip run to Aberdovey and try and get as many Esprit's in attendance as possible to soak up some great roads, scenery and driving. An early meet at RAF Cosford then on through Welshpool etc..we take a stop for coffee mid morning and aim to be parked up in Aberdovey middle of the day for lunch. Its genuinly a great drive and often some of us bring the other half and its a good social time to mark the end of the season..

so were having to do it a little earlier this year in September but can people suggest a sunday when theyre free please. Mid month onwards and note there name down and well set a date for it.

Date set then guys.. sunday 20th October. The general idea of the run has been detailed earlier in the thread..actual meeting times can be finalised closer to the day although generally we say around 8/8.30...it has been mentioned that the lotus drivers club is doing their wales run on possibly the same day. In which case we shall liase and arrange meet ups along the route where we stop for breaks and at the destination. It may be that we take a different route to get there which will enable our group to keep together without the party being too large to keep momentum up..Names please!

S3 Esprit on the road after 2 year lay up.

Engine just bedded in so would enjoy a run to Wales.

A convoy of Esprit & fish 'n' chips.

Good man! Room for as many as can be! Theres a main thread going on thats updated in the main list in the events section on the forum...keep an eye on that for info. Pop your name on there too.will be good to see you.

As Darren stated this is running on the main events page, due to its national interest..

But on here as it is organised by the Midland group..

so add your name to main events list as well..

I have noticed a couple of names from last year not up yet... be nice to have you all along

again... more the better..

We also have a different cafe, stop on the way down , with better facilities and parking..
