Interior lights....

When accelerating hard the footwell lights come on/flicker on our S4s (the main interior light hasn't got a bulb in it, presumably for the same reason).

If they are the same as most cars they would be switched earth, so this would point to part of the loom having an earth fault.....

Is there anywhere on that part of the loom that always breaks? Just so I don't have to spend ages looking!

The switches seem to work ok, but I'll recheck them.

Checked the door switches (again) seem to work ok, but I did lube them this time.......... This seems to have fixed it! (fingers crossed).
