Marking As Read

Not really getting it

Am reading threads and clicking via the forum and not my PC's back button etc.

But sometimes i have to read it twice to get it to show read. Now looking at everything and clicking 'mark all' before i leave.

Am i doing something silly?

I find it can be a little idiosyncratic - I have a degree in computers and Im still not 100% sure the fault doesnt lie between the screen and the chair

As you said - I always 'click my way back up' the navigation chain

I can actually assist with this problem, no more computer muppet title for me.

I have the same problem, what I have found is once you have read a thread you have to then go back into whichever forum you came from (ie, chat, tech etc) instead of jumping straight to the main board menu. That way it seems to register that you have read the topics and not skipped any.

I have mentioned it to bibs before and I think he was going to look into it.

Yes it does!

Bit of a 'stepping stone' way of moving around, but at least it marks 'em.
