Engine mount heat shield

I need to make some kind of heat shield for the engine mount under the exhaust manifold. Can anybody recommend some material to use?

 

I was looking on SJs website but it's about £30 for a right angled piece of metal. So I was thinking about fashioning my own and had a look on eBay but they're mainly self adhesive. I don't want to wrap the mounting as I need to be able to keep an eye on it in case it fails.

 

Just wondered what others had done?

I made one from material I bought from a local car shop... a type of double skinned metal sheet, quite easy to hand form.

I've only just seen this. Thanks for the offer but I bought some off eBay last night (like the stuff in Andrew's link) - isn't it always the way hahaha
