98 Gt3 Brembo's - fit 88 Steven's?

Do the 98 GT3 Brembo's fit the 88 X180 ? They fit the 89 SE ..... Question is do they fit with limited modifications required?

Your UK '88 should have the same brakes as the 89SE.  So they should fit if the kit has been made to fit the 89SE+.  The USA '88 Turbo had the Citroen transmission and inboard brakes still, so that car would not be able to use the SE-GT3 brakes without modification.

 

Normally the GT3 Brenbo brakes would need the later front hubs, caliper mounting bracket, rear hub carrier (for the parking cable routing) and the rear caliper bracket to fit on the 89SE though...  So I'm not sure if you are looking at buying the GT3 Brembo brakes from a GT3, or from a kit that is designed to adapt them to an earlier car.

Just to re ignite this theres some S4 front brembos come up for sale, would they fit an SE (ive got S4 wheels ready to go on) obviously the S4 has ABS but im thinking the calipers have no ABS related changes? Or do they?

Brembo calipers will fit your car, you'll need to change discs if they don't come with discs. No issues with ABS.
