Brake Accumulator

Does anyone out there have a reputable source for the Accumulator for a '95 S4s here in the States? I see one on GMpartsdirect.com; is this the exact replacement for the "Lotus" unit?

For the States it is the only source I know.

In Europe it would be Ramspott+Brandt.

Thanks, Olaf. Do you or anyone else out there know if the part from GM is actually a direct fit? There is not even a picture of it on that website. It is certainly cheap enough (US$100) to be attractive, but is this a "false economy"?

Anyone bought one from there before? This would have to be a question for the USA contingent--GM won't ship to Europe.

It is a direct replacement . However the new unit has an allen head on it in order install it as opposed to a hex head. No big deal, but appearance is not exact because of this.

Yep, that will work, also the accumulator from a XJS will work - check the parts cross reference sheet or drop the guys at JAE parts a note
