Which Pirelli Corsas - Direzionale or Assimetrico 2?

Recommended Posts

So, new tyres time. Trouble is, every site I look on seems to either only have fronts or rears, but not both, or lists different models of tyres for front and rear, like this:

Front (Direzionale): http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&details=Ordern&typ=R-216609&ranzahl=4&nichtweiter=1&Breite=205

Rear (Assimetrico 2): http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?s_p=Pirelli-P-ZERO-CORSA-Asimmetrico-2-265_35-ZR18-97Y-XL-LS&details=Ordern&typ=R-223642&cart_id=36519052.110.28043&ranzahl=4&Breite=265&Quer=35&Felge=18&Speed=W&weiter=10&kategorie=6&Ang_pro_Seite=10&sort_by=Lable_DEX&Transport=P&dsco=110&sowigan=So&rsmFahrzeugart=PKW

Are these both correct? They both have the LS designation, so I assume so, but seems odd they have different models for front and rear? Or have I missed something looking at my current tyres!?

The Pirelli Corsa is a "system tyre".

Front and rear OE fitment on the V6 Exige are not only different sizes and profiles - but also different patterns front (directiona) and rear (asymmetric).
