Upgrading the Gear Cables

So after test driving the evora400 I'm slightly obsessing over having a better and tighter feeling gear change. If someone knows if the sport 350 system is going to be available for us to retro fit then please let me know... Otherwise on recommendation from Komotec's test driver I'm looking to upgrade the cables.

Has anyone done this?

The SSC upgrade looks to be well tested and recommended, also has the benefit of a shorter shift, and the path of the cables is via the cabin vs rear axle so I'm led to believe is not effected by heat as badly. The options from SSC include just upgrading the gear cable or also upgrade the cross gate cable as well. Anyone know what the cross gate cable is and if that is also worth upgrading at the same time?

Ive never heard of an S3 with upgraded cables. I just thought it was something the early S2 boys did.

Sorry @Fortis and @550superfast haven't updated this thread. However my feedback and thoughts are documented on page one and two of this thread
