Sport 350 Flame Red

Successful day at Stratton yesterday. Windscreen with finisher replaced. now in perfect condition rather than the slightly shabby state it came in (see finisher thread). Happily, I also ended up with a tint-top screen too, which the original wasn't.

Also, the soft top conversion is done and we can now do this for the first time...

But damn it's chilly driving at 11pm in around 10degC!!

I've also got the soft top conversion.  The Exige looks great with the roof off I think and it gives the car a different character doesn't it.  The weather Sunday was lovely for a 'roof off' drive, with the side windows up there is not too much buffeting either at normal road speeds.  More appreciation of the nice exhaust note too, valve open.    The tint-top screen is a nice bonus, I didn't know they came like that.

That was unexpected.

I look around and see plenty of people driving cars that cost a tenth of what I paid for mine. I suspect some of them might have a similar view of me. There's always a bigger fish.

IRL, I'm guessing the Shooting Brake isn't going to be quite as extreme as that render. Kind of a shame really, but I expect it'll still be a thing of beauty.

Lol. Each to their own and I was just expressing my opinion. Anyone is free to disagree with me as i don't believe any one of us lives in North Korea and therefore has the right to no opinion!

My reaction is more to the pseudo arms race that is going on. And no, I'm not referring to Donald and Kim. There seems to be a race to the bottom at the moment among the very wealthy. The bottom of the taste pit that is. I just think it's a little, err excessive. That's all. I bit like the Bentley fookuadayo or whatever that bloated SUV abomination is called. Saw my first one in the flesh in St. Andrews on Sunday and nearly barfed my ice cream (Nardini's extra cream vanilla with chocolate mint chip don't you know) all over the pavement. It was an insipid metallic beige with a magnolia inspired interior. Uggghhh, feeling sick just thinking about it. Must have been a retired dentist!.............

As for your flame red Exige, well, where do I start. What an absolutely fooking good looking car that must be, which makes me totlly forgive your taste fwobble with the Aston-Zegato render, as deep down, your own car choice shows you have taste and style!
