Anyone changed rear undertray to Dzus?

So, with it needing to drop the rear undertray for stuff like changing oil etc, I was wondering if:

a) has anyone changed the fastening over from screws to Dzus (1/4 turn) fasteners?

b) is the V6 the same basic setup as the S2 Elise? i.e. will it take a similar number of the same type of fasteners? You can use slip-on retainer clips if the original fixtures use slip on captive nuts.

Ahh, I notice @Hangar 111 has a set for non V6 cars. Dave, can you answer any of the questions I posed?

Hi Martyn.

The V6 undertray is quite different to the earlier cars - it has about ten M8 fasteners, as well as three M5 down each side, and about five M5 into the rear diffuser.

In all honesty, unless you are taking the tray off alot, it's not really worth it.  A falling off undertray is a far worse proposition!
