Interior lamp

The interior lamp between the seats. Should it switch with the doors opening?

Mine is off in the middle setting, but on in both top and bottom setting, with doors open or closed. I assume this is wrong, so what should happen? Which position should be switched? Top or bottom?

It stays on for a few seconds when you close the door in the door open mode. put the key in the ignition and it turns it off in the door open mode (I can't remember if that's up or down though)

Right, I'll try that and see if it starts to make any sense.
