  1. Thanks for your responses, I'll see what I get offered and take it from there. I am going to sell it through a dealer (mainly to avoid the hassell of lots of people 'trying it out').
  2. Bit of advice please .... I am thinking of selling my Evora, had it nearly a year its a December 2009 Launch edition. Its had a few warranty issues which have all been fixed (air con condensor + alternator(x2) + engine wiring harness + screen pillars), it now runs really well. My question is if I sell it now I will get a reasonable amount of money however if I keep it will depreciation increase (even more dramatically) as it approaches the end of the warranty period ? My heart says keep it, my head says sell it now ! (Just bought a diesel Passat estate as a run around - just doesn't feel the same !) Roger
  3. The wheels are £603.28 front, about 10% more for the rear. http://www.bellandcolvill.com/lotus/parts/Evora/Front_forged_wheel_Gloss_Anthracite/1810.htm I suppose I could have got some cheaper ones from Halfords (big bore exhaust while I was at it)
  4. He charged £150 which on the face of it seems expensive, but I couldn't find anyone local to where I am (Newcastle under Lyme). He had to come from near Leicester (Hinkley) 1.5/2hrs each way + 2.5 hrs ding the job. He did a good job so I would happily use him again.

  6. Whilst avoiding a combine harvester I scraped a kerb with inevitable results (see photo). I wanted it repaired quickly so I googled for an alloy wheel repair specialist, found one that looked alright so arranged him to come to my house the same evening. I was a bit apprehensive about the quality of repair but it turns out that I needent have worried. He invited me into his fully kitted out van and explained what he was doing and why. The whole process took a couple of hours and the repair is invisible. I initially thought that this was a franchise operation but it turns out that he owns and runs a one man operation. If anyone needs alloy wheel repairs I would recomend him. www.alloywheelright.co.uk
  7. When I removed the front wheels from my Evora I noticed that the hubs are splined, they were made to accept a driveshaft ! Does anyone know what they were originally made for (just curious) Roger
