production date 21st of february 97, registered new may 97. I never put any pictures of my GT3 up so here you go I live about ten minutes from the ace cafe and have never been there so if any of you lot are ever going let me know and ill come say hi

change of plan sticking with the plastic lip but need to get a new one. I have been told this part is obsolete? is that true if so what do you do if you wanna keep the plastic front lip but needs a replacement.

My GT3 needs this too, I can get at the filling points without taking off the undertray is that odd?

I have just ordered a v8 front lip with the fibre glass bit (old plastic lip looking tired) Whats the best way to attach this? I already have a v8 front lower half of the bumper. the last plastic front lip was held on with self taping nuts is this correct?

the retaining bolt for the aerial is on the boot lid just in front of the glass

Is the immediate area around the square section where the metal T shaped piece would normally be strong enough to jack from? the reason I ask is the saddle on my jack is 114mm which is much wider than where the normal jack would sit. Or should I use a wooden block that fits the normal jacks lifting point.

hi all, I know where the jacking points are on the esprit and same as my last one the little metal bits that the jack locates too are missing, not really a problem as i can still jack up the sides from there. My question is can I jack from the side points with a trolley jack? and if I want to use the trolley jack what is the safest way I don't want to damage the body obviously.

Hi again, after reading Paul Hogden's thread regarding his certificate of provenance I thought I would get myself one from lotus, it just arrived this morning. So it turns out if you want a GT3 with red carpets and seats your outta luck because I have the only one not sure if that's good news or bad but there you go a uninteresting fact for the day

hey thanks for the replies/advise/welcomes, I have had a esprit before although that was a while ago and now I am very keen to get back into another one (really missed that car). This orange gt3 and another one that is silver http://www.esprit4sale.co.uk/Sale/UsedCarCentre.html are the ones I am considering can't decide which one to go see first you see my problem is knowing what I am like the first one I go see will be the one I buy (heart rule head style look at the shiny esprit ) providing of course there is nothing major wrong with it and it has good history. I am in london so I have morland Jones just down the road from me for servicing etc.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the orange gt3 esprit for sale reg P955 JNU apparently it was the lotus demo car. I have noticed its been for sale for a while and that its missing the decal from one side which makes me think its had some damage up that side at some point. Just looking for any advise before I make a long trip to go see it. cheers guys
