Hi Thanks for the nice reply's. Also the brakes are modified, with discbrakes at he rear from a Fiat X 1/9. And the drivingaxle (bellhouse) is also Rover. So the car brakes very well for a classic. I will make some nice pics of the engine.

Hi, I am a new member from the Netherlands, so excuse me for my English A half year ago I bought a (I think) well known Lotus Elite V8 with some special specs. the car had not driven for some time, so I had some work on the engine, electric, brakes and.........well I think every part of the car. I put new tyres on, restored the interior, modified the hydrofluid suspension, revised the carbs, put elecric feulpump in, new coil, headlamps, enz, enz. The car was still on English plates, so I had to go for an Dutch registration certificate and made it at once. So now I am the proud owner of a Lotus Elite Rover V8 with Dutch registration and I have driven some nice miles with it
