  1. @ChrisJ - I'm located in North Wales (a lovely part of the world ! 🥰) @mike_sekinger - correct sir. Who on earth would want a Sport 300 in ghastly green in the first place! 🤮 (not me, thats for certain)
  2. ChrisJ .. I'm not a great photographer and my cars are used hard but sparingly in the drier months .. so not many photos I'm afraid. But what few pictures I have, if they give a little bit of enjoyment / inspiration to others, then its a win-win ... hopefully people will see how well cared for they are .. and that any sport 350 coming my way would be going to a good home !!! 🤩
  3. Cheers Mark - If nothing, I am patient .. waiting 5 yrs for a Sport 300 to come up .. and it may well be a similar wait for a sport 350 .. (probably longer, if my desires push me in the direction of a white or black one!). Never give up on the dream though!
  4. Hi All, A very much asked question over the years, I'm sure, but I am seeking a UK Esprit Sport 350. I know from Rob C's excellent work over the years on the register for these cars, that not many come along to the open market and they are very rare. I am a patient man and I can wait, so I do not expect a flurry of activity with offers! What I can say, is that I am a complete esprit nut !! Once you start with them, they really get under the skin. Amongst the stable of summer time joy, I have: - a super 1989 calypso red chargecooled SE. - a 1996 calypso red V8 tt - 1994 camel yellow sport 300 My vision for esprit ownership is to have and keep the sport 300; a sport 350 and the little SE. So my 1996 V8 will soon be up for sale. Happy to field / answer any questions on this. All my esprit's are maintained by PNM - so any technical questions which I am unable to assist with, please feel free to ask Pete / John at PNM as they know my cars inside out. Back to the Sport 350 - I will happily entertain enquiries from people who have one and would be keen to pass it on to the next loving custodian. Many thanks for reading / replying. Cheers Ian
  5. I am in the market for a 350 sport (to accompany my other esprits - I'm afraid I have the esprit-bug!) so any information on UK ones for sale, build numbers, colours (as i know there were a couple of variations) and options would really help my quest. Thanks in advance. Cheers Ian
  6. Here we go folks ... retro photos of my old turbo SE ... mmmm .. it was nice !!! Welcome your thoughts & opinions! Cheers Ian
  7. Cheers Guys! .. nice to be back! I fully concur that V8 prices are going up, up and far away .. hence why I want to get one soonish ... it will sit in the garage with (I hope) some other loved and appreciating internal combustion engines !! I have tracked down some old photos of my old turbo se ... I will see if I can upload them ...
  8. Hello Lotus lovers! My name is Ian - Im from North Wales .. A fair while ago now (15 years or so), I dipped my toe-into-the-lotus-waters and owned a stonking Esprit turbo se. It was with me for a number of years (after bringing it back to life with blood, sweat, tears and copious amounts of polish) and then .. other life events got in the way and it got sold to make way for new windows I think it was on the house I was renovating at the time. So I have been out of the Lotus scene for a good decade or so now. Anyway .. I have a small collection of toys, and I now want to add to this with an Esprit V8 SE (1999 onwards I think, because of the interior refit - but I beg to be challenged on this ...as Im still researching) and I think the time is right to find out all I can about them .. by you wonderful people who know all there is to know about them !! Im not in a particular rush to buy one and Im very fussy, so the right exterior colour (i lurrve the dark purple colour or failing that quite keen on black too) with cream or mag interior, spec, and definitely the AWI wheels are key to me - as of course is condition, mileage and all the other bits and bobs to look out for. I hope you welcome this newbie with open arms and festoon me with facts and knowledge to track and hunt down my V8 prey !! Thanks for listening !! ps. does anyone know where J80JJB is now .. that was my old turbo se. (just for old time sake!) Cheers Ian
