  1. leave connected. Its used to turn reverse camera on if fitted (1 second press) Reset trip meter one (5 second press) Turn on/off data logger for road screen (10 second press)
  2. The dynamics of a rear wheel car and especially a Lotus are TOTALLY different to a Front wheel drive car. We raced C1 Citroen's in endurance racing the rear was set to 1.25 overall degree toe out. An Exige V6 with rear toe out would be terrifying IMHO
  3. DO NOT splice a wire. It will not be needed Probably a glitch and WILL be fixed by AIM im am 100% sure as they are very very good
  4. 3Eleven has a Quaife LSD as standard, with essentially the same traction control etc as the 430 Cup Exige, So the factory have already done it on a platform that is essentially a V6 Exige (Front suspension arms are a little longer, steering arms slightly different, but thats about it)
  5. Reflash the 79 software to the dash, then reselect the correct year configuration. That sorted the clock on one that i was presetting (It jumped two hours forward each time i tried to set it)
  6. Should be on all the time side lights are on What is the serial number of you dash?
  7. Im in the process of a few upgrades on my 3Eleven. I bought a 400 series Y pipe from Lotus and can tell you the Y pipes that connect to the manifolds are 60mm and after they join at the Y the pipe is 76mm The Lotus Quiet silencer is also 76mm inlet and outlet
  8. 490 Kit for the 400 series cars...Hmmmmmm 3Eleven with 490 kit, That sounds like a good idea!!!!!
  9. Hmmmm Two similar but differing solutions My opinion for what its worth is a spacer is a not the correct way to achieve a certain wheel offset and i would not have one on my car However due to reasons only know to the designers the 3mm stainless steel shim was introduced to allow 285 section tyres, spacer?? yes but no... Its a shim that is bolted solid to the face of the wheel, not ideal but it works. A 5mm alloy spacer that is not fixed I do not like, but plenty of people do it with out issue, but don't forget you will need longer bolts
  10. DO NOT just move the wiper arm You need to move the arm on the motor If you move just the wiper arm it will go past the edge of the windscreen and cause damage
  11. Longer mounting ears on the front discs Rear 343 discs will take the deeper front pad (Well the alcons do, not sure on others)
  12. Binnacle cover finish, boot up screen, oh and the colour of the box it comes in!!!!! Operationally they are 100% the same
  13. The Icon manger is locked down in ALL versions of the MX2E. Firmware is the same on all versions
  14. Re the indicators, I added it to the update list many many weeks ago, Pretty sure aim will do it but updates take time, They dont just sell the MX2E and to be fair to AIM its a nice to have rather than a 'It doesn't work fix'
  15. They are Ferodo DS25HP ..Supplied in the caliper by AP Racing
  16. We find the ECU speed is spot on, there is also a setting to adjust the accuracy up and down by 0.1% increments,
  17. select the vehicle section and it will display the 2011-2020 version, click the top right button, Then use the LHS buttons to scroll through the model varients ( once you are on the correct version click the top right button to select the configuration) Its a real shame these things are not preset to the correct car by the company selling them!!!!!
  18. The actual ECU is used by Lotus on lots of models inc the V6 Exige , 2ZR Elise, 3Eleven etc etc, But the programme/software will be specific to the model its fitted too
  19. Just tested another Beta update from AIM and the lights on buzzer is definitely coming, as is the ability To enable and disable the gear position. Plenty of other stuff in the update!!!
  20. I would be more concerned with the dealers 'story' than the ECU dump. Lotus DO NOT fit used parts to production /sales cars, period They MAY re-use some parts during developement etc etc but a NEW car would not leave the factory with use parts fitted. Even if they did reuse an ECU they will have the ability to wipe it clean anyway. What is the 13th digit of the chassis number, Number 2 by chance????
  21. If you send it back to a dealer with the ability to set the mileage, YES no possible for the end user. Happy to help sort if you need it doing
