Yes, very good event. Some excellent racing & many car clubs put on displays, including Club Lotus (if you are a member), so plenty to see. Only drawback is that it always rains, I have been the last 5 years & only once has it been dry. Unfortunately I won't be going this year so it probably will be dry.

Yep, rarely miss watching BSB, either on TV or at the track. Going to Thruxton next week, sadly only on Friday as it clashes with Silverstone Classic.

The "About the Movement/ The History" is a great read, whoever thought that up has a great imagination.

Same here, been attending for many years, great event, if not quite the atmosphere of LMC. One area it is better than LMC is that there aren't as many Porsches on display!

I’m there every Sunday from 9am till about lunchtime so just let me know when you’re coming.
As for the Excel in Sainsbury’s car park if it was Ice Blue and in the corner furthest from the door then yes it was. I work there and it is now my daily driver 😁
Ok will do.
Yes that was the Excel I saw then.

Well not an official meet, just a day & approx time.
PS: There was an Excel in Sainsburys car park in Newbury last Tuesday morning, was that yours?
-
Sounds good to me too, I am only 10 miles away. Maybe you could organise a meeting one weekend.

So will Woody & Buzz Lightyear be made gender neutral too?

In reality the delay will be down to the bureaucracy of the EU committee system, but at least “all 27 member states are united” or so we are told!
Hungary broke ranks & licenced a Russian vaccine a week ago because the EU were so slow.

Photoshopped, CR15 REA is actually the registration of a Mercedes.

I actually think it is great that the BBC have done this because all these so called offended youngsters will now go and download the song to find out what they are missing!

Yes, thanks Martyn for your efforts, not sure if I will go now, but hopefully we can organise something for a future Bicester event.

Nothing surprising that BA is protecting its commercial interests, it’s not a charity.
my flight was cancelled by BA. You had to call them for a refund. I called about 10 times before I finally got through. They agreed a refund, and amazingly, the cash was in my credit card account in three working days.
Also had my flight cancelled by BA, have tried 4 times calling for a refund & have yet to get through, get cut off every time. Apparently you do have 12 months from the date of your flight to claim the refund.

I am amazed at the tolerance, of not only the ministers but the medical & scientific experts who have to answer the same questions from these journalists day in & day out. The one who drives me to want to hit the off button is that droning, err, umm, err, Robert Peston.

I expect that many of them are on their daily run to the shops to buy yet more provisions that will eventually end up in the dustbin!

Just had an email stating that this event has been postponed until June 21st.
I am already committed to going to Shelsley Walsh on that date, so unless it is postponed again I will not be attending.

Count me in. Went last year in the Club Lotus display, not sure if they are doing it again this year. Excellent event, just so much interesting stuff to see.

The Porsche Tincan in all of its BEV beauty is not, unless I have missed something, the replacement for the wonderful GT3 or GT3RS 911. It sits alongside, to allow Porsche owners a choice.
Whilst watching coverage of the Daytona 24hrs last night, the commentators interviewed someone high up in the Porsche hierarchy, can't remember his name. He stated that although Porsche are investing in electric powered cars there are no plans to power the 911 by anything other than a petrol engine.

Now that is the sort of track F1 should be racing on, none of those namby-pamby tarmac run off areas.
