  1. Biscuit and Tan are the most vile colours of leather and shouldn't be specced on any colour, IMO. Yanks seem to love em though and think they are luxurious...
  2. While I don't initially agree with the colour, I'm sure you can pull it off if this thread is anything to go by. Like you say, it's your car, do what you like.
  3. I reckon he's going orange with brown, seeing how much he loves my car!
  4. Not yet sadly, weathers been too crap since fitting - but I'm sure I'll get some eventually. For now you can just listen to Imran playing with his I'm sure my car is faster though, as I have more stickers!
  5. Knowing my air filter needed replacing in my service, I ordered the @alias23 intake as a christmas prezzy to myself. OEM filter wasn't too bad, considering 3 years of daily use, in horrible conditions at times but still nice to upgrade. Using man maths, it made more sense to spend the money on the upgrade! The Alias23 unit arrived, very well packaged and with rapid shipment. Sent out Friday and arrived Monday. All the little fittings were in a labelled envelope sealed nice and securely. I was in the middle of work, but needless to say this took priority! Now, me being like a giant man child decided to print the instructions and read them first... until I opened the box. I just had to assemble the filter - carefully as to not crush the internal cage - which was fairly easy if you have patience and don't man handle it. Once you learn how the silicone likes to move it's less infuriating. Here it is, next to the OEM unit, bearing in mind the OEM unit has that feeder pipe, which you no longer need. The instructions recommended taking the wheel off if you can't get the OEM box out from the top but as my driveway is gravel and a total pain to work on I just spent a bit longer fiddling to remove things. Still easy as anything. Imrans instructions were clear and pictures helped greatly to understand what you are looking for. I'd say if I wasn't doing this in the middle of this sodding storm I could've done this under an hour, no problems. But because of the wind and rain I had to keep stopping every other step. In the instructions, re fitting the shroud at the top of the photo is optional, you can save some weight by removing it, but I prefer the look with, so back it went. If you look at your OEM set up, and now my photo, there is SO much more room for activities down there now! Overall, one VERY happy customer, and couldn't recommend this enough, I only wish I did it sooner. The noises you get now are insane, and to be honest I feel the car is more responsive/alive now, but that could be placebo. I'm lucky in that this weekend I'm going for a drive with a club and there is a tunnel run - hopefully I can get some footage and add it here
  6. Couldn't be happier with mine. Imran kept me up to date with everything and did the best he could to get it to me as fast as possible. The only regret I have is not orderign it sooner. Owned my Exige since June '18 and wanted more supercharger whine since then and by god does this give it to you, if you want it. Low throttle/cruise control there is none - jab it for a blip and you get some, boot it and you get tons. Very happy. Easy install, which I would happily say can be done in around 30 mins to an hour WITHOUT jacking it up and taking the wheel off, if you don't mind a bit of fiddling. I don't have a safe space to jack it up due to gravel driveway so would rather just spend some time fiddling. Installed yesterday during the remnants of the storm down south if that shows you how easy it is. Instructions are so clear and precise you cannot get it wrong. The new powdercoated finish on the intake pipe is fantastic. Looks OEM+ and will no doubt stay clean looking for a long time.
  7. Not quite finished as the weather ruined my fun before I could place it nicely with all the panels back. @alias23 thank you for the tips and instructions. So easy to fit, don't need to jack it up or anything more than undoing screws/bolts. Thoroughly impressed with how easy it was and the quality. Can't wait to finish tomorrow and go for a drive. Makes a nice change compared to other Lotus parts I've bought and fitted. Customer service on point as is the product time to relax inside now!
  8. A little box of happiness delivered today. Now if the bloody storm would go away for more than 15 minutes I can start making progress on fitting. What I would do for a garage on days like this!
  9. A122U0046K – Bezel Inner R/H – You need 2 A122U0050K – Bezel Outer R/H – You need 2 A122U0049K – Bezel Inner L/H – You need 2 A122U0045K – Bezel Outer L/H – You need 2 Everyone is correct in that you can’t remove the old ones without breaking them, so will need to order the above. according to Jamie at Bell and Colvill you also need to remove the seats to fit them again.
  10. I thought they were £20 per clip, 2 per seat and 4 per car?
  11. They clip in, and tend to break when you try to remove them. Expensive to replace, so you're better off wrapping them instead of paint
  12. Yup 🤣🤣 coming off soon, waiting for my friend with the vinyl cutter to remake them in black and the LOTUS on the wing is being made a bit smaller to fit better
  13. Realised I never posted an update on my lights which I got early November. Went for a drive today to get some updated photos and location hunting for when a photographer friend comes to help out. I'll spare you the other rubbish photos 🤣
  14. @alias23 intake shipping out today. Not much more to say, excited. Brilliant service and all round great guy.
  15. Managed to repot some of my bonsai today, buds are opening on a few which isn't ideal but hey. 5 done, 28 or so to go. Back breaking work mixing all the soil as well, but satisfying to know it's done soon for at least a year if not two Warm enough to not need a jumper while outside, quite nice down south!
  16. Not jealous at all. Nice one look forward to seeing the finished article
  17. It is damn good though. Wrapped the front of my 370z Nismo in it, bumper wings and bonnet was £1200 all in. At £200 to do sills, when they are £300 to replace roughly - is it worth it?
  18. It depends. My three local wrap places with good reviews vary hugely on price. Mustang over the top twin stripe was £400 at one place, they put em on wonky and they converged. Refunded but left them on. Second place who seemed a bit more awake wanted £550 PLUS VAT! Third place charged £600 vat included - we live with the wonky stripes for now, itself not hugely noticeable until you see it.
  19. I didn't think £200 was totally unreasonable, its a solid hours worth of work, plus materials. Yes its expensive, but time = money. I was quoted £300 to re do the PPF on the side of the car in front of the rear wheels... thought sod it, rather leave it on for that stupid price :P
  20. https://www.facebook.com/groups/244205262448043/permalink/1333526436849248/?sale_post_id=1333526436849248 Might be of use to you?
  21. You're going to paint the wheels "brown" and cover it in stickers finally?
  22. Sourced a double skinned one.
