not sure if it's been posted ....been a bit obsessed with WW2 lately and came across this...

I was in Maui a few years ago and he was there at Xmas time - you can't miss him.....nail polish - scarfs - blonde streaks in his hair etc.... no one made a fuss over him but the girly i was with spotted him and said "who's that?" - she didn't know him either - we are in our 40's and don't live under rocks...... i've seen pics of him on his harley there too - hopefully he can ride better than he drives. It is a seriously fast car - i watched the EVO tube video - 1245 BHP !!!! - but the dude on EVO said it was easy to drive and the clutch was not to heavy or short throw so ......?

Makes sense that a Chinese company would put their guy in charge. He speaks their language. The guys at Hethel better start brushing up on their Mandarin.

I wonder if you opt out of the stereo from Lotus - if the wiring is still there i.e. standard loom for the car so stereo wring already installed - in which case opt out and put your own in?

I prefer carfection which seems pretty objective and actually drive the cars on roads - shock - horror. This guy is good too - Smoking Tire and strangely - NO smoking tires. Here he actually drives a car on roads (yikes) quite fast and talks about suspension/handling/engine/gearbox etc What a concept. Let's ignore the monkey.

I grew tired of this guy very quickly. Who the heck drives a car like that anyway ? He's always full rip around a track - smoke everywhere - blowing tires - really ? What is the point of that? What does that show us and prove ?

He's 78 - which makes him the same age as my mother - born in 1940 in Leith, Edinburgh. We all know what they grew up with and people then had to stand up and fight back for freedom and free speech etc. If i lived near this guy - you would have to get past me to get to him and you better be shaking his hand.

I wondered which one you meant... then found - big up to LOTUS ! Yeah there's ok roads -but they are very conservative with the speed limits and strict with speeding - so you have to be careful.... Watching those boys down in California -on youtube - smoking tire etc... it seems they have some very nice roads they can rip around on.
