  1. Project getting closer to completion. Love the louvres great quality work. Anyone know how you can get the Elise 260 wing mounts and wing ? The wing on it at the moment is carbon fibre cup wing on exige mounts that doesn’t sit right in my opinion.
  2. No louvres being added on the rears. Will add some photos of car up when complete
  3. Agree I don’t like the reverie ones, I went with the seiuoslylotus louvres (3rd option). for the Elise i think they are the best option and in line with what’s on the Cup 260. They do require the most work and are a lot more expensive with professional labour to mould into the clam and require the whole front clam to be repainted. Jwinger- If I had an exige series 3 like the 410 I would have gone the komotec moulds as well as they just require the clam to be cut and then moulds are placed in with no fibreglass work or painting required.
  4. Seeing as no response to my post thought I would share what I am doing in case others are looking at this in the future. The mods are underway to my 2015 Elise S. I have loved the Elise and have had a great time on track (mount panorama, Phillip Island, Sydney Motorsport park, Wakefield) with lots of great lotus folks. I have progressively modified it including nitron suspension, camber arms, power kit to 270 bhp. Only mod really left is the LSD at some point if the clutch / gearbox went. I have always liked the idea of making a bit of homage to the Elise Cup 260. Only 30 globally were ever made in 2017 and none come to Australia. What I particularly liked were the louvres on the front wheel arches like the Exige cup 430. Anyway after a little ding on the front clam I decided to take the opportunity to make some enhancements which are including a front splitter (250/260 cup), big wing (likely exige 410 / cup 250 wing rather than the big flat wing on Elise 260 cup as can’t find this) and front clam with louvres. Build is underway in Australia using the seriouslylotus louvres. Photos added of my front clam with louvres below …. Very excited 😜 I’m calling it the Cup 270 …. I know very ricey but I’m going with it !
  5. Hey - wondering if anyone has put Louvres / air vents on their Elise series 3 front clam like the Elise cup 260 similar to exige/Evora gt430 ? i have seen the following options: 1. Komotec - for exige - not sure they fit Elise but advantage they don’t need fibreglassing in https://www.komo-tec.com/en/lotus-exige/mk3-toyota-v6350380/exterieur/789/upper-carbon-wheel-arch-vents-kt-track?c=577 2. Greg’s race parts - bit rough / tacky looking for me https://www.gregsraceparts.com/collections/aero-exterior/products/reverie-carbon-fibre-front-wheel-arch-louvre-vents-for-lotus-elise-exige-s2-exige-v6-pair-1 3. seriouslylotus - the best looking but require professional skills and painting https://www.seriouslylotus.com/miscellaneous/exterior/clam-top-air-vents thanks in advance for any feedback Chris
  6. I’m not a fan of this heritage look. Too fussy for me. Prefer the simple colours that show the great curves of the Elise.
