    Presumably irs good practice to let any engine dle for a few seconds before that first raucous blip of the throttle. I certainty do with any OHC engine especially my old Diesel Vanagon

    I think reducing diameter might reduce the density at the intake, not increase it ? rhou1 x V1/ T1 = rhou2 x V2 / T2 continuity ?
