  1. I found it weird as well. At least for the hip pain I can definitely say the 1st seats where too tight. A couple of months had passed between driving the two cars, time in which I lost some weight meaning I fit better in the seats. No idea about the the back pain. Maybe the same explanation. I feel that seats are a very personal thing anyway, for ex. I find the Volvo seats uncomfortable on long journeys despite everyone bragging about how comfy they are. Same for Porsche 18(?)-way adjustable items.
  2. Thanks Jimmy! The 1st owner was successfully racing the car in the "Lotus Cup Suisse" - video here - and I assume this is the reason he went for the lightest spec. So I'm grateful to him for making good choices in life ๐Ÿ˜„ Thanks Phil! Carbon seat were a must have for me. I want to track the car, so I was looking for the lowest driving position to hopefully be able to fit inside with a helmet. The 1st car also had the carbon seats, and those were very uncomfortable. After the 20 minute drive I got out with back and hip pain. But somehow I find the seats in my car surprisingly comfortable with the longest drive so far being around 2hrs, no stops and without issues.
  3. As Bibs pointed out, I'm based in Switzerland (in the relatively flat part). We had lots of rain, very strong winds and negative temperatures. For me the most significant difference is the way you can feel the car moving with the road and the confidence that this inspires. Feeling everything the car does make for a truly enjoyable drive even at legal speeds. A manual gearbox was also quite high on my priority list. Then we get to the the fact that I can comfortably fit inside (not very elegant to get in and out, but I don't care). And least but not last, the engine sound and how the notes are changing from low in the rev range up to the redline - I've replayed this video GT430 Titanium exhaust at least 20 times while I waited to collect mine ๐Ÿ˜†
  4. Hello all, Just wanted to introduce myself and my GT410 ๐Ÿธ here as well. Here is the post that I've written in the official section - Introduction post
  5. Hello everyone, I want to introduce myself as being the new owner of an Evora GT410 painted in Lizard Green with factory fitted Ohlins dampers and Titanium exhaust. Got the car about a month ago, at 35900km and have driven less than 800km since than due to the horrible weather ๐Ÿ˜”. It wasn't a car I originally considered, but after a lot of test drives with things like AMG GTs, 911s (997 and 991.1), Caymans (GT4s and GTS), V8 Vantage S (at 6'4 I struggled to fit in this one, but that engine sound...), Mustang GT350, F-Type R and some M and AMG models, all of them very nice cars but they left me completely unsatisfied. This was going to be 2nd car so originally looked after an Exige but size was a constraint so the next logical step was the Evora. 1st car I drove was 2021 model in full black it was a nice drive, but still not convinced. After a couple of weeks the green car appeared for sale and safe to say I was in love the moment I saw the color. I went for a test drive as soon as I could and those 30minute were enough to make me fall in love. I returned to the dealer with a huge smile on my face. My friends nicknamed it Kermit๐Ÿธ, which I think it's quite accurate. Attached a couple of pictures:
