  1. Out of hibernation, new trackday wheels, 2024 full major service incl new supercharger belt and TRD Air filter and first 2024 quick detail
  2. Various Photos incl fitting new in date factory harnesses and the official oem Cup rear tow kit that came with the car Battle of Britain Memorial at Calle-Le-Ferne
  3. Just thought I'd update the page with a mix of photos from the last year as more of a car build thread as it's progressing ready to be used properly. Pre purchase images First Detail
  4. Thanks I’ll try on a laptop, this is via my iPhone on safari that it’s not working
  5. Sorry I’m pretty new to the forum and just looking through and have seen this, however the video is no longer available which is annoying as it’d help me see if it’s what my car also done recently. The issue to me sounds like the cars bogging down slightly then clearing. This can be caused by it being driven around slowly constantly and then a sudden boot fuel can put a lot of fuel in which can cause it to bog down slightly, as if it’s blocked and clearing out. It may just need a good blast occasionally as mines done it twice and in both cases it was post long traffic and slow journeys. As soon as the roads opened, into second and hesitated/kangaroo’d a bit. I have had it twice in total and as soon as you ease the throttle on it doesn’t happen. It could be something more but if only on occasion and similar to the above it maybe the answer, else it sounds like a map issue where the air to fuel ratio could be out, if not then you’re looking at the relevant components, injectors, coil packs etc
  6. 100% mate, the amount of cars I viewed which has just sat and deteriorated. What people forget is no use means things perish, deteriorate, dry up, bushes crack and so on. Buy, drive and enjoy for sure imo
  7. Buy, use, enjoy - my motto. Life’s too short to leave things sitting deteriorating in a garage 👍
  8. Yeah was just over a year, couldn’t find the right S2 Exige where the spec and condition were actually as advertised and so widened my consideration to the Elise cup and Exige v6. The v6 cup will Ideally be next or the atom I also want, this is the perfect middle ground for cheaper running costs and fun 🙂
  9. Will do thanks, I left it basic as I was giving up hope on finding a car that was right and met my high standards, luckily a friend offered me this one and it was never on the market as avail 👍🏻
  10. Will do, this won’t be a garage queen for sure lol, garage queens are not my thing 😂
  11. One think I will say about these cars having come from all kinds of JDM and high powered cars, they have a very different feel to them. So my last track cars have been DC2, DC5, EVO, Lancia, 1000hp R33 GTR V-Spec 2 and many many others. The S Cup already feels very special to drive, the feedback is immense, the driving position perfect (for me anyway). Getting in and out will take a bit of getting used too, as is the lack of luxuries lol, but overall it’s a very impressive bit of kit and I cannot wait to test the big aero out 🙂 To me it feels very similar to drive as the NSX-R, by this I mean how it’s so driver focussed and minimalistic to ensure the driver gets a raw and exciting experiencE with an exotic feel. Unfortunately I missed my only chance to by an NSX-R and regret it more than anything as their values now have made them unobtainable, but the lotus is very very special already 🙂
  12. Thanks Chris, I’m in Kent 👍🏻
  13. Thanks, yeah I thought it’s best to leave a model with more power for a later date/purchase 🙂 I have planned an Atom next, and nearly bought one instead of the Cup, but this is far more usable lol
  14. Hi everyone, I’m new here and have spent the last 12 months or so looking into Lotus cars with three in mind. An Exige S2, Elise Cup or an Exige S3. However after looking at various lotus’s of each model above with an itch to scratch it was a tough choice. A few days ago I found the perfect car after being let down by many S2 Exiges not meeting my standards and opting to leave the V6 Cup for a later scratch to itch as they say, so I didn’t end up with an S2 Exige, but instead I found the perfect and as described car in the S2 Exiges ultimate evolution/successor and I couldn’t be happier, an S3 Elise S-Cup. Some photos attached 👍🏻
