On my 430, the nearer vent has a hole at the inner edge but not sure if the outer vent has any air flow as the stones are being trapped in the corner as can be seen in the pic.

So do most 430s have “closed” arch vents?

On the Facebook group, it seems people are running a 265/35/R18 rear with no issues, which opens up the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 in addition to the Bridgestone Potenza Sport.

Seems like quite a big difference % wise for the sidewalls, but I am not sure if it would work or not

There's been a few posts where 225/30/R17s are doable on the front if front camber doesn't exceed -2.0 and slight rubbing at only full lock. Looking for some road biased tyres to put on myself but the OEM sizing for 410/430s do not leave much choice which means looking at slightly different sizes...

No issues with a smaller gap between front and rear widths?

I guess that leaves 225/45/R17 and 295/30/R18 in Michelin Pilot Sport 2 is the solution?

Potenza Sport is available in the OE front 215/45/R17 but not the OE rear. Would it work to combine that with a rear size of 275/35/R18? (and so its slightly off the OE rear size of 280/30/R18?)

Any recommendations for a road biased tyre going into the winter for a Cup 430? Not sure Michelin PS4/PS5/PS4S or Bridgestone Potenza Sport are available in the OE tyre sizes (215/45/17 and 285/30/18)? Michelin PS2s are available in OE sizes in Porsche fitment but the load for the rear tyres are below the OE spec so not sure it would be valid for insurance?
