I have a few issues, any help would be greatly appreciated as usual. If anyone will be in Puerto Vallarta Mexico between Sept. 22-29, The tequila is on me!!!! Dash lights, I read my manual and there should be (2) rheostats to adjust the light intensity 1 for the instrument cluster and 1 for the ac/heat panel. Where are the rheostats for adjustment?, if adjusting them does not work, what might be the most likely route to a fix. Back-up lights not working, any ideas? the ac/heat switches, are they GM, i believe they need to be replaced. as they just rotate all the way around. Again Thank you Bigmike208

On the boost gauge transducer, The post with "WK", has no wire attatched to it, does it need one, if so where should it run to? on the barometric pressure sensor, there is a vaccuum nipple that is not attatched, if it needs one, where does it go? tried to download pictures, but file too big. Thanks to all that help us in the uknowing world to know. BigMike

hooray on the great people(like you) on this website. I finally got my workshop manual and hopefully plan to remove the engine in the next 2 weeks (business allowing) I got a nasty oil leak somewhere and my turbo gauge is acting funny. seems to run fine, but I guess I wont know untill she is all set-up. I would appreciate any suggestions on what to do to her and get the most bang out of her. Mike

:crybaby: 1991 esprit, after car is warrm, oil pressure drops and then goes up wen reving the engine. also oil light comes on intermittenly, checked oil level it is ok, any fixes?? oil pump? Thank you BigMike208

Ordered the "workshop manual" hopefully it will get her by friday so I can remove the engine and transaxel this weekend. I have heard estimates of 10 hours for removal, I will let you know how long it takes me. Could someone suggest where a fellow might purchase the 2002 rear light set-up for sweet? Thank You Mike P.S. it is tuff getting in and out of the car but if it aint tight I do not want to be there anyway! Love the handeling!!!! Thanks for the welcome! I am 6'5" 253lbs hope this picture comes out, took it in April when I first looked at the car, took another 2 months before I got her, but I did!!!

I traded a custom Titan for "sweet" now that she is home I have noticed a few things, oil pressure high upon start then drofts to zero when idling and 1/2 way point when in throttle,oil leak coming from I do not know yet and antifreeze under transaxle. The turbo boost gauge doesn't work and the red light on the dash binnacle is red(bottom one on right side of binnacle, has a snowflake design) The car starts fine, when warm it kicks down to idle and it is fast and shifts well. I am going to pull the engine and transaxle and rebuild them. Would like to know if I should go through it all or try to fix what is broken. Well, I fell in love with this 1991 esprit se and just had to have it. Now I do. Even after 1 month I still find myself going to the garage just to look at "my baby" I feel obsessed.(in a good way). Looking to rebuild the car and go through it completely just so I know what I have. I guess I have entered the "ESPRIT ZONE"
