Dash Warning Lights

Hi All, Your right the gauges are crap, I did the superglue repair after i found the blown fuse (A21 5 amp). The gauge clamp must have touched a live. I found the temp gauge had a crack in the body too. Thanks go to superdavelotus for his post in LIGHTS OUT I thought I'd checked all the fuses, after reading his advise i checked again and found the cause. Many Thanks JonJon -
Hi All, The fuel gauge on my 96 V8 fell out the other day so today i thought I'd set about fixing it (glass has broken away from the body so i guess a new one is needed, any ideas). Now the warning lights and rev counter are out and the battery warning light is on. Everything else appears to work, I've checked and replaced fuses even though they looked fine. Car starts and runs fine its just the dash lights and rev counter. Any ideas anyone. Cheers Jon It's ok i've sorted it.

Spotted HEARD Bibs then 5 minutes latter spotted Bibs at the B&Q lights Larkfield & a nice Yellow S1 Elise going into B&Q today also a White 58 plate elise near Walderslade

Hi all. It's the r/h shield, with the wheel off I can see the nut is missing & the stud has no thread left. Hopefully my exhaust guy will figure something out he works with s/steel so it should'nt be too hard for him. Cheers Jon.

Hi all, Those of you at Brands on Sunday who heard me park up will know what i'm talking about,the car sounds like crap with its heat shield rattling away happily . Anyway i'm replaceing both engine mounts on Sunday and thought while i'm under the car i'd rip the thing off. My question is is it wise to run without heat shields? Cheers Jon.

Hi all, Thanks for a great day out, it was good to meet some fellow Esprit owners. I would be up for another run sometime. Maybe we could split into smaller groups - fast, mid and old farts who like to look at the scenery (just a thought). Might be easier to stay in some kind of convoy. And what was with the bonfire in the Woodsman car park? Maybe they were trying to melt the plastic car?

Will the Sport350 mounts fit my 1996 V8? My dealer is saying the Sport mounts are near half the cost of the V8 ones. Are the mounts handed?

Hi All, Just given the Esprit a quick going over getting it ready for the weekend. Both engine mounts are looking iffy so want to replace them. My question is how do you replace said items and where can i buy them? Thanks Jon. Ps: Looking forward to meeting some of you at Brands on Sunday.
