work of art Wayne,
can't wait for datalogs,
on the heat exchanger for the air coolers
do u have a pic with different angle for the
end tanks?
they look small in the pic,
I am sure they calculated the floow thru them

.035"
On all BB unit's gt35 and smaller,
Paul,
R u using gt2560r or 2860rs cartrige?
lookin good bud
-
those r 300zx headlights
thats what expensive $$$ diablo uses and many other cheap parts
and they make fun of esprit using toyota lights lol
-
Gunter,
R u using any ethanol content guage for the fuel,
not sure about germany but here in the states we
have winter and summer blend of e85,
and its not to cnsistent in the stations,
so when I tune on a winter mix wich is around E70 on
summer blend e85 the car goes lean so risk of detonation
or melting things on cruise can happen
Also u can run much more timing with E85, do u have a way to do that?
that will bring the egt's down and improve ur gas milege

1 uz is more low end torque than the lotus v8 so ur 1st gear should b perfect
-
that's the only down side 2.5'' exit
not familiar with it but it has great blower options for some one staying stock bolt on
I forgat u have a bigger down pipe this should work for u if u wana stay internal wastegate
its simillar what I have been using
gt3071r should get u to 375whp and its a fun street turbo very good responce on a small engine
also just saw they have a great exhaust housing option for internal wastegate
if u whant to get in the 400s more efficient is gt3076r
if u shop around can find the blowers couple hundred cheaper then atp

just found this on the atpturbo site
for guys who wana stick to direct bolt on
and have great compressor choices

The car already has the GTO 5-speed upgraded gearbox, but I

on old or heavy rich running cars I put atf in the cylinders and let it sit over night,
next day I put back the plugs and spary galon of water in fine mist wile running at couple thousend rpm
throught the carbs or throtle and than change oil and filter,
on the fuel system I buy galon of toulene from paint stores with
4 ounces of mystery marvel oil in 10 galons of fuel run it till empty
and change the fuel filter
but 1st check all the rubbers like stated in above posts
good luck

I rebuilded my s4s clutch and pressure plate,
the clamping load on the used s4s was around 790kg
and one of the side torque straps set had a litle bend on
the upgraded clamping force came out to 1312kg will c how long it will hold 400+whp,
the thrust bearings will work hard with that pressure
and the torque straps were replaced with better and thicker material
hope that should take care off hard, high rpm heal and toe down shifting and on off throtle
I relined two clutches I had in us for $120usd both
and did the pressure plate in australia for $120ausd
now if I can just put it togeather in the next few weeks and c how it holds

great work Jason,
do u by any chance have the messurment from the axle point to the front of ur engine,
also did u keep the box on the stock location or did u move it?

http://www.t1raceparts.com/1000cc_Bosch_sa...or_p/b1000s.htm
these r the ones I use on my cars, I can cruise as lean as the egt's will let me with
no brake up, great spray patern and economy
-
Great #'s Gonzalo,
r u sprayin b4 or after the blowers?
-
Paul,
Part #1135153
did u install it yet, was it the same as Sanden SD7H15
also how many ribs on it,
my ac is cooling but the compressor makes some nasty ratling noices when
clutch engaged
thnx
-
looks and sounds great,
1st class work,
u will enjoy it
-
clean install on the v8, looks good Mark,
on the acura try to run the vacum hose to wastegate
as close as u can to turbo or tap the compressor cover,
take care
-
wile back I bought an s4 engine and transsmision that cought on fire from clutch slip,
be carefull,
-
u dont have to wory about the chip not being able to controll bost past 1bar,
u will switch loop anyway over sertain tps, load etc.
Marcus's chips r set perfectly all the safety fetures r still in place,
boost vs water temp, vs air temp etc.
what it does it cheats or fakes the map reading kind of like piggy back controler.
also if u r running stock turbo I dont c the need to go past 1bar
I would get more efficient compressor,
with 1.25bar u will only gain power for few secs and than will loose power quick as it will heat up the air
alot and u will risk detonation also the stock turbo wont last to long,
more grunt with stock turbo the 1bar high torque chip i think is perfect
more boost bigger turbo race red chip
-
thanx Kato,
I am looking for a cleaner interior install,
but it gave me great ideas for the engine bay
-
I have red line oils on all my cars drive trains for long time,
even on a f1 ferrari box,
I got my v8 last year shifting didnt feel good so put some atf and drove it easy till it got hot and drained it,
I put mt90 in and shifts like butter drove it hard for 2k miles now and still havent grind or missed a gear
-
did u check if all the plugs r firing?
-
David,
r u having problem with ur ecu or just looking to upgrade the tune,
not sure on the oem ecu reliability I never had issues with it or with any sensors,
I did run red race chip wich I was very happy with,
I did want more so I played with fuel pressures and injectors to get my setup
close to perfect,
if u need more than that I can recomend what I have done on couple of my cars
and plan to run on the s4 hopefully,
U can order brand new honda aem box after market ecu for $1000 usd and
new honda plug and pins for around $50usd,
and install it on ur xsisting wire harness,
the reason I like aem its relaible, great tech support, very easy to tune and very cheap used,
more features than u will ever need, all the sensors can be calibrated,
just got one slightly used from ebay 1050 aem box, that model I had good luck with for $450 shipped
so $500 plug, pins and ecu cant beat that,
of course there r lots of other great choices but I thing aem is best bang for the buck
let us know what do u have in mind
good luck
