Leven Lotus Track Day - 18th April

This is your chance to drive your pride and joy around Knockhill and be part of the official launch of Caterham in Scotland!  The Leven Car Company are delighted to announce that we are hosting an exclusive track evening at the famous Knockhill Circuit on Thursday 18th April for our Aston Martin, Specialist and Lotus customers.  Our event will be running from 1pm - 8pm and we have split the event up into two sessions, the first being from 1pm-4pm and the second from 5pm-8pm. Helmets can be supplied, however drivers can bring their own, and drivers should wear warm clothing and trainer type shoes. We are also excited to announce that we have been chosen to be the official partner of Caterham in Scotland, therefore this spectacular evening will also act as our launch event... and we certainly have an incredible line-up for you all!  During the evening we will have static displays from Aston Martin Edinburgh, Leven Lotus Edinburgh, Leven Specialist Cars and Caterham. Our expert and friendly team will be on hand to have a chat with you or answer any queries that you may have on any of our cars.  • Sir Chris Hoy is expected in attendance for the day session ONLY, performing hot laps for customers.  • Lotus will also be putting on a show, with factory input. Yet to be confirmed.  • Caterham CEO; Graham Macdonald will be in attendance with his Caterham race car. • The Aston Martin factory at Gaydon have promised us something special for the evening, which is yet to be confirmed.  • Caterham to provide cars for on track demonstrations, posing an opportunity for all to experience what the legendary Seven is capable of on track. My son Gregor and I will be there in the afternoon session in our Evora S’s. Got our more detailed info through this afternoon and looks like a few things lined up as well as some ‘interesting’ lines showing some different routes on and off track. 🤔 I wonder what it all means 😀. Looking forward to it anyway.

I was signed up to the evening session, but have had to cancel, due to the Elise being in the bodyshop for some TLC.

Still hoping to pop up for a nosey though.

Also confused by that that track map Al (maybe from another event?), can't be anything other than the normal full lap and pit entrance/exit surely?

I'll also be there in afternoon slot with the 3-Eleven.  There should be about a dozen Lotus from SE in the afternoon plus a few in the evening.

Hi folks, just landed back in the UK after a 20 hour last day at work followed by 36 hours of travel, inc. 4 flights and considering starting a petition to not allow parents on flights with babies or children under about age 10.   Serves them right for having brats. Holiday in the UK until you don’t cause sleeess flights for fellow pax  

@C8RKH surprised to hear that as I’ve had lots from them right since the first approach and even warning me sessions filing fast if I wanted choice.

Only just seen this.  I’ve just been speaking to Ian at Leven Lotus (aftersales manager).  He said this must have been an admin error but if you want to come up as a spectator he’ll look after you.

I’ll be heading along in the afternoon to get a closer look at the Caterham and get some photos.
