Isn’t it strange how not so long ago, the words ‘Made in China’ were almost bywords for ‘shoddy’, ‘cheap’ and ‘poorly made’, yet here we are expressing the hope that the Chinese parent company will sort out Lotus quality issues. 😂

I can recall a time when ‘Made in Japan’ had similar connotations to how we saw things made in China more recently. When I was in to motorbikes in the early/mid 60’s, Japanese bikes were still considered a bit of a joke and if you wanted well built, you bought a good solid British bike. We all know how that turned out! 🙈 😂

Exactly the same issue with the window on my Evora on the day I collected it. I waited an extra hour while the B&C technician liberated a replacement from an Evora in the showroom and Jamie threw in a full tank of petrol by way of an apology.
