Yes - sorry - I think I got a little sidetracked - but a nostalgia trip is good accasionally - and I'm scanning Ebay for tapes inbetween LEF posts :(

Oh - and on holiday atm - which helps!

Strange, I was also 17 when my car was new...:rofl:

Have we really forgotten the Pet Shop Boys?!

What about some vintage REM or U2? Jeanne Michel Jarre? Vangelis themes? Top Gun or Ghostbusters soundtrack albums? A-ha?

Interesting - it's the nostalgia thing again - perhaps?

Do we lust after the things we dreamt about when we were late teens/early twenties? In my case - most definately - a quick viewing of the contents of my garages has me banged to rights!

Pet Shop Boys - oh yuss - West End Girls

Yeah - was really into the Synth stuff early on - so have Vangelis and Jarre vinyl somewhere...

Along with this - poignant as the 'Market Square in the song is Aylesbury Market Square - which is where we lived at the time! :crybaby:

Fish lived a few doors down from one of my mates and was frequently in the local...

Marillion - Kayleigh
