Dry sump oil pump belt solution.

Good evening dry sumpers. 

The lotus centre emailed me this yesterday. 
 

Dear Jason,
Thank you for your enquiry. There are very few parts available for dry sump
engines but we are looking to get the belts made and will advise when
available.
We have had the metal gasket s made for the scavenge manifold in sizes 1mm,
1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm. We sell these as a set with the option to
return the ones not used for credit.
These will be on our online shop website at the end of next week.

Hi Jay,

I'm not sure what issue you are having and maybe I got lucky but the belt I ordered from SJ fitted perfectly and after removing the dry sump oil pump to re-gasket, all went back together and functioned perfectly. Anyway, you wanted some pics of the oil pump, hope these help.

I guess the lotus centre will be making metal spacers which are the whole length of the pump.

Excellent!  I looked everywhere and I couldn't find any decent pictures of the OE dry sump system. Thank you!

In your opinion, what would it take to add D/S to 88' US Federal Turbo (910 engine with A/C, power steering, still Citroen gear box and inboard brakes)?

Is it worth doing it?

IMO, it would be fun doing that, providing that I can find all the bits.
