Properly executed, this could be very cool. Like the XJ and MG on Range Rover chassis that were used in rally. It would definitely need a nice V8.

Now I do have an Excel I've been meaning to sell, a couple of spare Range Rovers and a newly built 5.0 V8. 😎 A couple more years of lockdown, and I'd might actually get something up and running. 😛
