Buzzing sound from oil cooler pipes

Only when hot, and no fluctuation on oil pressure gauge

Could this be a symptom of a sticking pressure relief valve ??

I dont want to experience oil pressure loss ? anyone had this noise before ?

Is the buzzing associated with a particular rev band or also present at idle?

Hi Mike,

Only hear it when bonnet open and its there when hot at all revs, well from tickover and increases when its revved up.

Initially suspected it was a bearing on the front of the engine first but traced it to the oil cooler pipes with a stethoscope when over a pit.

Thought it might be an issue with oil cooler pipe de laminating inside, but changed them to no avail. ?

Could it be from the oil pump itself? That would probably transit to the oil lines.

Maybee but ive not experienced this before so was asking if anyone else had  the issue.

Might have to wait till something breaks before i know what to fix 🙄

Wow, Symptoms are same as mine.
