I've been doing some work on this of late, we now have all the latest Lotus and Supercar news auto imported from the web and I've approached Lotus to become a contact from the Press people there. I've also been speaking to Alan @ CL and will be hosting the official Club Lotus forum on there, we're meeting in a week or so to discuss the finer points of this.

The idea is to have a sort of 'Pistonheads' news portal and also portal to all Lotus online resources (esp forums) in one place.

Any thoughts?

good work, I find the page a bit busy for my taste and it may be better in a differnt colour scheme, maybe an option to change? I prefer black text on a white background, I find it easier to read

Hi Bibs,

its looking good. Is it meant to only fill 60% of the page width and teh rest being for images other things etc. It just seem narrow. Also should the deault font be 11pt or 12 pt as it looks a bit small. It may be an optical illusion with the colour scheme.

Also are you needing any beta testers to look at different options on look , feel layout etc?

cheers

Alex

I've not really done anything with this to be fair, and I should do. I'll sort that out soon.

In the meantime, there's a new version of the software I use to develop these sites and once you've got your head around it, it's awesome!

Here are some sites I've recently done in http://www.joomla.org v1.5

http://www.rpresourcing.co.uk

http://www.elite-consultancy.com

http://www.jayoffshore.com

They are all done with the same template but there are thousands to choose from. If you want a website, check it out.

Nice :D

Hi

Looks that this Joomla is very good instrument to do web sites. Hope that I have some time to study it.
